The Artist

   FLAVOREDART is celebrating its 10 year anniversary this year! Since the post below (2016) was written 10 years ago alot has changed. I, "the artist", have explored many new things and have been inspired to create even more forms of art. At the end of 2025 I added a collection of Handmade Crochet Blankets. My grandmothers both crocheted and I was inspired to carry on this legacy even more since being diagnosed with cancer in October of 2025.  I began to see crochet as "usable" art I was able to give to family and friends as a way to remember me.  Well, I'm still here and have been even more inspired to share this new found love with all of you! As with all of my art, I hope you find something that brings a little joy to your home or to someone you love. -2026

    Welcome to FLAVOREDART!  Creating things that could be considered beautiful has always been part of my life.  -The one way I could express myself as "not ordinary".  Over the years I've learned there are no rules or restrictions when creating art, but it's so important to keep discovering new people, places and things hence creating new experiences- so my palette is always expanding. Thus there are many subjects I explore as I express through art the beautiful world I see.  Life is interpreted through forms, sounds and words- if it stimulates your senses, mind and spirit it's art! Therefore, everything is art. -2016
